Days after General Motors, Wrigley and Taco Bell announced that they were pulling commercials, MTV's "Skins" continues to lose major advertisers at a dizzying pace.
H&R Block said that its advertisements aired on the program by mistake and that it had instructed MTV to make sure its commercials were no longer tied to the series about a sexually promiscuous group of teens.
Subway has also pulled its commercials, according to the Hollywood Reporter. A spokesperson for the sandwich chain did not immediately respond to TheWrap's request for comment.
The Parents Television Council has been aggressively targeting companies that hawked their wares on the racy drama — an Americanized version of a hit British show.
