‘How to Get Away With Murder’s’ Alfred Enoch Gets Recognized on Bus, Tries to Lie (Video)

Star of Shonda Rhimes’ ABC drama prefers taking public transportation, but admits on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” he may not be able to continue

Alfred Enoch may not be a household name yet, but that could all change soon with his starring role on ABC’s “How to Get Away With Murder.” In fact, it’s already starting to, which could definitely impact his daily commute by bus.

The 25-year-old “Harry Potter” actor plays Wes, the lead among a group of elite students chosen by Viola Davis to work at her firm on the Shonda Rhimes-produced show.

Hailing from London, Enoch said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” that he only recently came to Los Angeles. As such, he’s still in the habit of taking public transportation, which they are very proud of in his home country.

“Well let me explain something to you,” Kimmel said. “We’re not very proud of our public transportation system.”

He then asked if Enoch had been recognized yet, and he had … kind of. A man approached him and said that he looks a lot like a guy on a show called “How to Get Away With Murder.”

At this point, Enoch could have ‘fessed up, but the man gave him an out when he asked if he’d seen it, so Enoch took it.

Apparently, the man bought the lie, but he was determined to prove how much these two people looked alike, so he pulled up a picture of Enoch on his phone to show him.
