Monstrous madness ensues in the fourth and final installment of the “Hotel Transylvania” film saga.
Drac and the pack are back in action, though voiced by some different actors this time around for “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania,” which is currently streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
The Van Helsing family, who we met in the third film, unleashes their secret weapon: the Monsterification Ray. When the machine goes haywire, all of the monsters are turned into humans and stripped of their powers, while Johnny turns into a monster. To reverse these changes the group embarks on an adventure across the globe, hoping that the transformation won’t become permanent.
Below is a full rundown of the “Hotel Transylvania 4” cast and characters.
Count Dracula (Brian Hull)
Originally voiced by Adam Sandler in the first three films, Count “Drac” Dracula runs a prestigious hotel for monsters who want to get away from the human world. His life changes when Jonathan, a human, finds his way inside the hotel and falls for Drac’s daughter Mavis.
Frankenstein (Brad Abrell)
Originally voiced by Kevin James in the first three films, Frankenstein is one of Dracula’s main crew and also Eunice’s husband.
Mavis (Selena Gomez)
Mavis is Drac’s daughter, over whom he is super protective. She and Jonathan eventually get married and have a half-human, half-monster child named Dennis.
Jonathan the Human (Andy Samberg)
Jonatan is the only human in the group, thus when the Monsterification Ray malfunctions, he turns into a monster while the rest of the monsters turn human.
Ericka Van Helsing (Kathryn Hahn)
Ericka, Dracula’s love interest and eventually wife (but not Mavis’ mom), thought monsters were different due to the misconceptions of her great grandfather, Abraham Van Helsing, who invented the Monsterification Ray. By marrying into a family of monsters, Van Helsing’s great granddaughter gives them a chance.
Eunice (Fran Drescher)
Eunice is Frankenstein’s husband.
Wayne the Werewolf (Steve Buscemi)
Wayne, a werewolf, is Wanda’s husband.
Wanda the Werewolf (Molly Shannon)
Wanda, Wayne’s wife, is also a werewolf. They have werewolf children as well.
Murray the Mummy (Keegan-Michael Key)
Underneath all the toilet paper, as revealed with the Monsterification Ray, Murray is an ancient mummy.
Griffin the Invisible Man (David Spade)
Griffin normally is an Invisible Man, represented by a pair of floating glasses that he wears. The Monsterification Ray reveals his physical appearance, complete with ginger hair and no clothes.
