Stars send Valentine’s Day greetings like everybody else, and many directed those messages to fans and others on Saturday.

Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch (“The Imitation Game”) went above and beyond loving tweets — he tied the knot with his pregnant fiancee, Sophie Hunter, Saturday.

Fellow Oscar nominee Reese Witherspoon (“Wild”) tweeted some love to singer Diana Ross.

Madonna put on her sharpest shade of red and invoked her new album.

Jimmy Fallon, who’s sparked the #WhyImSingle hashtag on “The Tonight Show” for the special day, had a special message for candy hearts.

British singer Sam Smith sent a message to all the lonely hearts.

“Scandal’s” Kerry Washington and “Hunger Games” star Elizabeth Banks both noted the importance of self love.

“How to Get Away With Murder” star Jack Falahee shared some — joy?

“Parks and Recreation” actor Rob Lowe paid tribute.

Model Chrissy Teigen shared a sweet moment from her date with her husband, singer John Legend.

I’m on my magical mystery date! Luckiest girl alive.

Some were self-explanatory (sort of), like “Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn’s Instagram post.

Then there were those who seemed like they just may be a little over V-Day. Garbage’s Twitter page, for one, pointed out a negative — even if there is reportedly a cute dog involved.

“Da Vinci’s Demons” star Tom Riley compared love to a slaughterhouse, complete with the sound of cows in their death throes.

“Hostel” director Eli Roth quoted “Scarface” from Ocean Dr. in Miami (sometimes the message is in what isn’t said about Valentine’s Day).

Chi Chi! Get the yayo.

Some were just disturbing, like a greeting from the “Bates Motel” Instagram account.
