Ratings: ABC’s ‘Holey Moley’ Tees Off, Lands Atop Thursday Leaderboard

Fox’s “Spin the Wheel” debut is primetime’s No. 2 show

Holy Moly: ABC’s “Holey Moley” series premiere was Thursday’s No. 1 show on broadcast. Fox’s start for the Dax Shepherd-hosted “Spin the Wheel” was No. 2.

Unfortunately for ABC, debuts for “Family Food Fight” and “Reef Break” dragged down the network’s primetime averages. Fox, which doesn’t air national programming in the 10 o’clock hour, was actually the top-rated net among adults 18-49 last night.

CBS finished first in total viewers on Thursday.

Fox was first in ratings with a 0.8 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and third in total viewers with an average of 3.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. “MasterChef” at 8 p.m. had a 0.7/4 and 2.8 million viewers. At 9, “Spin the Wheel” started to a 0.8/4 and 3.4 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 0.7/4 and second in viewers with 3.5 million. “Holey Moley” at 8 landed a 1.0/5 and 4.8 million viewers. “Family Food Fight” at 9 got a 0.6/3 and 2.9 million viewers. At 10, “Reef Break” received a 0.5/3 and 2.8 million viewers.

CBS and Telemundo tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.5/3. CBS was first in total viewers with 4 million, Telemundo was fifth with 1.4 million.

For CBS, following reruns, “Life in Pieces” at 9 had a 0.6/3 and 3.8 million viewers. “Elementary” at 10 got a 0.4/2 and 3.4 million viewers.

NBC and Univision tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. NBC was fourth in total viewers with 2.8 million, airing all repeats; Univision was sixth with 1.2 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 654,000. At 8, “iZombie” had a 0.2/1 and 685,000 viewers. “In the Dark” at 9 got a 0.2/1 and 623,000 viewers.
