It may not be “cool” to be a Hillary Clinton supporter, but at least it’s finally socially acceptable.
Seth Meyers helped the largely silent group “come out” Thursday on “Late Night” — a truly brave thing to do during these judgmental times.
“There’s something about me that I haven’t really been sharing with anyone,” one nervous woman started off the pre-taped bit. “I’ve lived in silence, terrified of what people would say about me if they knew.”
“But then I saw the news this morning,” another added. “Now I live in an America where it’s safe to come out — as a Hillary Clinton supporter.”
They may not be on par with Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump fans just yet — perhaps in time. For now, the well-rested, practical gang is just hoping to not get their cars keyed so much.
Watch the video above — and if you can, please, help the group with its tagline.
