Still the subject of attention over her use of her personal email as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton joked about her relationship with the press at a journalism awards ceremony Monday.

“My relationship with the press has been at times, shall we say, complicated,” Clinton said at a dinner for the award of Syracuse University’s Toner Prize for Excellence in Political Reporting.

“So I thought to myself what could possibly go wrong,” she went on to say in front of a slew of reporters.

She continued to talk about new beginnings, including her grandchild, hairstyle, a new email account and changed relationship with the press.

“No more secrecy, no more zone of privacy- after all what good did that do me,” she said to laughter (might not be laughing when Republicans use that line in a 2016 ad).

Clinton concluded that there were non-dislosure agreements made by her lawyers under everyone’s chairs.

Should she run, Clinton’s first presidential opponent announced his candidacy Monday—Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
