HGTV has renewed “Beach Hunters,” “Beachfront Bargain Hunt” and “Island Hunters,” and ordered new show “Mediterranean Life” to series.
The existing (and popular) Sunday night lifestyle shows will split 68 new episodes. “Mediterranean Life” will start out with 14.
Here’s HGTV’s official (and brief, it’s pretty self-explanatory to regular viewers of these fantasy lifestyle shows) description for its newest series:
From the crystal-clear waters of Spain’s Costa del Sol to the rugged beauty of Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, the newest series in the fantasy lifestyle genre will follow house hunters seeking the perfect Mediterranean escape to call their own.
“The unbridled popularity of fantasy lifestyle programming continues to bring new viewers to HGTV each week and positively impacts Sunday prime ratings,” said John Feld, senior vice president, original programming and production for HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country. “By adding ‘Mediterranean Life’ to the pipeline, delivering three hours of premieres every Sunday and showcasing stunning homes around the world, we are giving fans much more of what they love.”
“Mediterranean Life” is slated to premiere in March 2019.
“Beach Hunters” features buyers who travel to exquisite seaside destinations to find their dream homes on the sand. “Beachfront Bargain Hunt” spotlights for-sale beach homes that won’t break the bank, while “Island Hunters” features families who search the world’s most beautiful islands to find an idyllic tropical getaway.
