Academy Award winner Helen Mirren will receive this year's CinemaCon Career Achievement Award, organizers of the trade show announced Monday.
The actress won the best actress Oscar for her role in the 2006 "The Queen."
In a written statement, CinemaCon's managing director, Mitch Neuhauser, called Mirren "a consummate actress" who "has entertained audiences around the globe for over four decades."
Mirren next stars in the Warner Bros remake "Arthur," which will be released April 8.
Her co-star in that film, Russell Brand, is receiving the CinemaCon Comedy Star of the Year award.
CinemaCon, formerly known as ShoWest, is the National Association of Theatre Owners trade show. It runs from March 28-March 31 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
