Heather Locklear has been charged with three misdemeanor counts after she was arrested in June for allegedly attacking a police officer and an EMT.

Locklear, 56, was charged Thursday with one misdemeanor count for resisting, obstructing or delaying a law enforcement officer, and two misdemeanor counts for battery on a peace officer and emergency personnel, the Ventura County District Attorney’s office confirmed to TheWrap.

The charges stem from Locklear’s arrest on June 24 at her home. She was arrested on accusations of misdemeanor battery on a police officer and emergency personnel, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Office records.

“She kicked one of our deputies and was arrested,” Sergeant Eric Buschow told TheWrap. “She was extremely intoxicated and uncooperative.” While an EMT was trying to evaluate her condition before being taken to jail, she also kicked the EMT.

Representatives for the former “Melrose Place” actress did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

This is not the first time Locklear has been embroiled in a dispute with law enforcement. In March, Locklear was charged with four counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer or emergency personnel and with a single count of resisting or obstructing an officer. The actress was also arrested in 2008 on suspicion of driving under the influence.
