Heather Locklear was arrested on Sunday night in Thousand Oaks, California for domestic violence and battery on a police officer.

Captain Garo Kuredjian of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told TheWrap that officers responded to a domestic violence call in Thousand Oaks at around 10 p.m., and Locklear was “uncooperative” with the deputies and “pushed” one of them after they discovered her boyfriend had been battered. Locklear claimed she was injured prior to the arrival of the deputies and was taken to a local hospital before being transported to the jail.

Locklear was charged with one count of battery on her boyfriend, a felony, and three counts of battery of emergency personnel, which are misdemeanors.

The actress was booked into the Ventura County jail but is no longer in custody. Kuredjian said she was released on a $20,000 bail. According to ABC News, Locklear is scheduled to appear in court on March 13.

According to the audio recording of the 911 call obtained by TMZ, Locklear’s brother called the police after arriving at her home and finding Locklear and her boyfriend in an argument.

A representative for Locklear has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.

Locklear was arrested in 2008 on suspicion of driving under the influence, and she and her ex-boyfriend Jack Wagner were ordered to appear in court after a reportedly violent fight in 2011.

Locklear’s credits include “Melrose Place,” “The Perfect Man,” “Spin City,” “Too Close to Home” and “Scary Movie 5.” She is represented by APA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and True Public Relations.
