"Harry Potter" actor Jamie Waylett has conjured up a two-year prison sentence for himself.

Waylett, who portrayed bully Vincent Crabbe in the series of wizardly films, received two years in prison Tuesday, for participating in last summer's riots in London, Reuters reports.

The 22-year-old actor was sentenced to two years for violent disorder and a year for handling stolen goods, which he will service concurrently. Judge Simon Carr told Waylett that he will be eligible for release after a year.

The good news for Waylett? He was cleared on a charge of planning to destroy property with a Molotov cocktail he was carrying.
Waylett was captured on closed-circuit television receiving a bottle of champagne from a rioter who had just looted the bubbly from a supermarket. He was also photographed holding the incendiary device.
"You chose to go out on to the streets on what was the third day of the violence. You were pictured on a number of occasions with a bottle full of petrol with a rag as a wick," Judge Carr told the actor. "I accept … that you did not throw or have any intention of throwing it, but merely being in possession of it would have been terrifying to anyone who saw you."
Waylett has a history of legal woes. In 2009 he was arrested for possession of marijuana and, after pleading guilty, received 120 hours of community service.
Maybe he should stick to the butterbeer from now on.
