Fox News anchor Sean Hannity skewered Jimmy Kimmel as an “unhinged loser” on his show Wednesday night for the ABC comedian’s recent criticism of Tesla and its chief executive Elon Musk. Hannity also publicly questioned Disney CEO Bob Iger, asking if he felt Kimmel’s comments were kosher.
“Bob Iger, you’re the CEO of Disney. Are you proud of this? Jimmy Kimmel is an unhinged loser. You see the ratings every day. We all see the ratings every day,” Hannity said. “He’s, you know, pretending to be woke, compassionate, while cheering for, you know, those that are involved in these actions against Tesla, against his political enemies.”
The night prior on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the late night host pointed out Tesla’s stock was “way down,” which drew a cheer from his audience. Tesla’s stock has dropped 38% since the start of 2025, which has made many left-leaning critics of Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency happy, including former Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz.
Kimmel then mentioned how Tesla cars have been defaced, with a number of clips circulating on social media of Teslas being keyed and damaged by anti-Musk vandals; Tesla stores have also been attacked, with some cars set on fire at a Las Vegas store on Tuesday.
“Please don’t vandalize. Don’t ever vandalize Tesla vehicles,” Kimmel deadpanned to the camera, drawing another laugh from his crowd. He added Musk has been “making the rounds” on right-leaning shows “to appear to be a human being.”
Those comments clearly irked Hannity, leading him to call out Kimmel and Iger on his show Wednesday night. “Bob. Are you OK with this seeming glorification of violence? Is this the inclusive, woke, DEI, the ABC-Disney brand?” he asked.
Hannity continued: “Now think about it. Jimmy. You know, he sobs, he weeps when an election doesn’t go his way. He demands compassion if he’s having problems in his personal life. But yet, ABC, Disney, Bob Iger allow a host, in my opinion, to be celebrating what has been happening to Tesla, against regular Americans that drive Teslas, making jokes about it all.”
It is worth pointing out Kimmel and Musk have traded barbs in the past. Musk called the comedian an “insufferable nonsense propaganda puppet” in November 2024, and Kimmel responded by saying “at least my children like me.” President Trump and Musk have also been frequent targets of Kimmel recently, with Kimmel joking Musk may need to “fire himself” for Tesla’s stock drop earlier this month.
