Hailee Steinfeld launched her music career on Friday with a body positive track called “Love Myself.”
The “Pitch Perfect 2” star, who is also an Oscar nominee and member of Taylor Swift’s posse in the “Bad Blood” music video, debuted the empowering song on her Vevo account.
Steinfeld’s first single features lyrics promoting self-love: “I’m gonna put my body first/And love me so hard ’til it hurts/I know how to scream out the words/Scream the words/Gonna love myself/No, I don’t need anybody else.”
So I tried going to sleep because waking up super early but NOPE, NOT HAPPENING. #LoveMyself http://t.co/pQ3dYBHftF
