Gwyneth Paltrow Tweets ‘Iron Man 3’ Set Pic, Avoids Using N-Word

"Iron Man 3" actress Gwyneth Paltrow posts a picture from the office — and manages not to offend anyone this time

Gwyneth Paltrow has taken to Twitter again — and she's managed not to hurl any racial slurs this time around.

The actress, who caught heat over the weekend for her tweet from a Jay-Z/Kanye West concert, fired up her account on Wednesday to offer a glimpse from the set of the superhero sequel "Iron Man 3."

"Day 1 on IM3. Pepper Potts! So happy to be here," the actress wrote, linking to a photo of a ponytailed Paltrow in what appears to be a dressing room.

Sadly, the photo doesn't offer much in the way of clues about the Shane Black-directed film, which is slated for a May 3, 2013 release. But then, dry and uninformative is a step up from Paltrow's recent Twitter record.

The actress ignited a firestorm of criticism over the weekend after posting a picture of herself onstage at a Kanye West/Jay-Z concert in Paris.

"Ni**as in paris for real," Paltrow tweeted along with the picture, referencing the title of a song by West and Jay-Z.

The caption prompted several Twitter users to leave negative comments on Paltrow's page, spurring the actress to write back in her defense, "Hold up. It's the title of the song!"

Though Paltrow's tweet drew no small number of detractors, she did find an ally in hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, who wrote in an essay on the website Global Grind, "I have to throw my hand up and stand up for Gwyneth. I know her intentions were not to be offensive … she was just proud of her friend, Jay-Z."
