Gwen Stefani didn’t quite gift-wrap a Tuesday ratings win for NBC — the “Voice” chipped in far more viewers — but her Christmas special sure didn’t screw things up either. For that matter, neither did “Chicago Med” at 10 p.m.

Still, CBS topped primetime in total viewers, thanks to “NCIS” and “Bull.” The so-called Tiffany Network was a close runner-up in the key 18-49 demographic, ending up just one-tenth of a Nielsen ratings point behind NBC.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.3 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 7.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 landed a 1.7/7 and 9.7 million viewers. At 9, “Gwen Stefani’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas” put up a 1.2/5 and 7.2 million viewers. “Chicago Med” at 10 had a 1.1/4 and 6.2 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.2/5 and first in viewers with 10.5 million. “NCIS” at 8 scored a 1.4/6 and 12.5 million viewers. “Bull” at 9 posted a 1.3/5 and 10.8 million viewers. At 10, “NCIS: New Orleans” got a 0.9/4 and 8.2 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 0.9/4 and in viewers with 3.6 million. “The Middle” at 8 received a 1.3/5 and 5.7 million viewers. At 8:30, “Fresh Off the Boat” had a 1.0/4 and 3.9 million viewers. “Black-ish” at 9 got a 1.2/4 and 4.3 million viewers. At 9:30, “The Mayor” closed of the comedy block with a 0.8/3 and 2.8 million viewers. “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” at 10 managed a 0.6/3 and 2.5 million viewers.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 3 million. “Lethal Weapon” at 8 had a 1.0/4 and 4.1 million viewers. At 9, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” got a 0.7/3 and 2 million viewers. A second half hour at 9:30 received a 0.7/2 and 1.7 million viewers.

Univision and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. Univision was fifth in total viewers with 1.4 million, Telemundo was sixth with 1.1 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 914,000. The channel’s annual “Greatest Holiday Commercials Countdown” at 8 had a 0.3/1 and 1 million viewers. At 9, “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” got a 0.2/1 and 787,000 viewers.
