Netflix has renewed animated series “Green Eggs and Ham” for Season 2, the streaming serviced said Friday.
The second season, dubbed “Green Eggs and Ham: The Second Serving,” will consisted of 10 half-hour episodes of hand-drawn 2D animation.
Based on the beloved book by Dr. Seuss and executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, Season 1 of “Green Eggs and Ham” launched Nov. 8 and followed opposites “Guy Am I” (Michael Douglas) and “Sam I Am” (Adam Devine) as they venture out on a road trip to save an endangered animal from a far off zoo. Along the way they learn to try new things like hope, friendship, and a certain delectable dish.
The rest of the Season 1 ensemble voice cast included Ilana Glazer, Diane Keaton, Eddie Izzard, Tracy Morgan, Keegan-Michael Key, Jeffrey Wright, Jillian Bell, John Turturro and Daveed Diggs.
Here’s the official description for “Green Eggs and Ham: The Second Serving”: “Sam and Guy’s adventures continue in an all-new season that takes them around the globe and outside their comfort zones as they get caught between two sides of a delicious conflict!”
“Green Eggs and Ham” is created by Jared Stern who executive produces along with DeGeneres, Sam Register, Mike Karz (Gulfstream TV), David Dobkin and Jeff Kleeman. The cartoon hails from Warner Bros. Animation.
The first season of “Green Eggs and Ham” is available for streaming now on Netflix.
