Fox News Channel preempted Glenn Beck's show Friday to be ready for breaking news about the possible government shutdown, and expanded "Special Report with Bret Baier" to two hours, starting at 5 p.m. Eastern.
The bulk of FNC's Friday schedule remains unaffected, except that the network may stay live after "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren" ends at 11 p.m. Unless the government reaches an agreement on its budget impasse, it will shut down at midnight.
Regardless of whether the government shuts down or not, Neil Cavuto's three-hour "Cost of Freedom" block on Saturday afternoon will be broadcast live from Washington, D.C., where Cavuto also hosted his "Your World" segment on Friday and, looky here, Donald Trump phoned in to say hello.
