Veterans campaign Got Your 6 has recognized “Gotham,” “Jurassic World,” “Madam Secretary” and several other film and television projects for their treatment of veterans.
The organization announced Tuesday the recipients of its “6 Certified” label, which acknowledges projects that portray military veterans with accuracy and fairness. In addition to “Gotham” and “Jurassic World,” “BoJack Horseman,” “Lone Target,” “Madam Secretary,” “This Old House” and “Triumph Games” were also honored.
“Through ‘6 Certified,’ Got Your 6 is countering the misconceptions about veterans that persist in popular media by elevating content that portrays veterans reasonably and accurately,” Rob Gordon, president of Got Your 6 parent organization Be The Change said in a statement.
