Golden Globes Winners by the Numbers

These TV networks and film distributors better clear some mantle space for their new trophies

Boyhood The Affair

The curtain has closed on the 72nd Annual Golden Globes Awards, and the trophies are heading home — after a party, of course … or two or three, but who’s counting tonight?

Speaking of summations, “Boyhood” had a big night, taking home three film awards. “The Affair” grabbed two on the TV side.

While Richard Linklater‘s film stood alone in trophy totals, FX’s “Fargo” and Amazon’s “Transparent” matched the aforementioned new Showtime series.

“Birdman” and “The Theory of Everything” grabbed two awards apiece.

Movie distributor-wise, Sony Pictures Classics and Fox Searchlight Pictures matched “Boyhood’s” IFC Films with their own trifectas.
