Immediately after the show ended, the Globes attendees rushed to the victors: Fox. With Matt Damon, “The Martian”, Lady Gaga, Taraji P. Henson, and three of the top film awards (Leonardo DiCaprio, Director Alejandro G. Inarritu, and Best Picture – Drama), there was a lot to celebrate.
FOX: Long after Jennifer Lawrence had changed out of her show dress, David O. Russell still had Lawrence’s red lipstick on his cheek – a badge of honor.
FOX: Fox chief Jim Gianopulos joined the corner “living room” area where various star contingents camped out at the Fox Pavilion.
FOX: Lady Gaga kisses the newest addition to her trophy mantle.
Katy Perry hung with Orlando Bloom at the Weinstein bash, and then floated next door to the Fox party before jetting out.
FOX: “The Martian” victory crew includes Jim Gianopulos, Giannina Facio, director Ridley Scott, Matt Damon, and 20th Century co-chairman Stacey Snider.

HBO: Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart. After the telecast ended, Ford hung with Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Oscar Isaac, Christian Bale, and John Krasinski while allowing the crowd to leave the ballroom as they lingered at a front row table.

Witnesses described “thousands” of guests arriving for the after parties waiting for up to 2.5 hours in a parking garage in Century City for a terribly underproduced and undermanned security checkpoint and transportation hub where 3 or 4 shuttles were ill equipped to transport eager party guests in formal wear to the Beverly Hilton. Whitney Port, Colin Hanks, and Adam Shankman were amongst the high profile names cooling their heels in a parking garage. This needs to be fixed for next year.
Netflix/Weinstein: A few minutes after news broke that David Bowie had died, the DJ played “Rebel Rebel” followed by “Let’s Dance”.
WB/InStyle: Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk hung with Kate Hudson.

FOX: Rupert Murdoch’s smile was well deserved on Sunday night, and not just for being with Jerry Hall.
FOX: Leonardo DiCaprio came up to “Brooklyn” Director John Crowley to tell him “I haven’t seen it yet, but it’s my mother’s favorite movie.” Saoirse Ronan had been dancing and hanging out with Paul Dano.
WB/InStyle: Sylvester Stallone came back to the microphone during a commercial break in the show to praise “Creed” Director Ryan Coogler as “brilliant” and to tell Michael B. Jordan, “You did all the work. I just held on for dear life.”
AMAZON: A less Golden “Globes” for the “Transparent” cast this year. Amazon Studios had their red carpet right in the lobby of the Hilton, where this group posed before riding the elevator upstairs to their party.
Weinstein/Netflix: “Spotlight” had their big party before the Globes, so the non-victorious Oscar frontrunners headed to Harvey and Ted Sarandos’ party instead: Director Tom McCarthy, Mark Ruffalo, and screenwriter Josh Singer.
Weinstein/Netflix: Heidi Klum and Veronica Ferres feel the way that many women did after 12 hours in hair, makeup, and heels at the Golden Globes.
