Homeland star Claire Danes is not new to the whole red carpet scene. But her dress choice for this year’s Golden Globes is getting mixed reviews on social media.
Danes wore a busy Valentino gown, laced with butterflies, and accessorized with blue jewelry.
Some have already described her frock as “ill fitting,” “interesting,” and “dowdy,” all words usually used to describe a red-carpet bomb.
@MaisonValentino @e_FashionPolice What have you done to Claire Danes?? Is her dress an homage Amish quilts?

I love when they take risks. Love Claire Danes wearing a @MaisonValentino gown from their spring collection #GlodenGlobes

Danes is nominated for her role as Carrie Mathison in Showtime’s “Homeland.” She’s already won two Golden Globes in the past, including one for “Homeland.” This is her third Golden Globe nomination.
