Bill Goldberg is your first entrant into the 2017 Royal Rumble match.
As TheWrap previously reported, the pro wrestling icon extended his one-match-only contract with the WWE prior to Sunday’s “Survivor Series.” Goldberg put the entire men’s locker room on notice last night on “Raw” — the former WCW superstar says he’s going for one last WWE title run.
“At the Royal Rumble match, everyone is next!” he declared to open the USA Network flagship wrestling show.
Goldberg decimated Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar at Sunday’s pay-per-view. He only needed about 90 seconds, two Spears and one Jackhammer to defeat the scariest man on Earth. Watch what amounted to pretty much the entire match here.
The winner of the 30-man Royal Rumble match in January will earn a title shot at April’s “WrestleMania 33.”
