‘Glee’ Star Becca Tobin’s Boyfriend Found Dead

Matt Bendik was found dead in his hotel room in Philadelphia, where he was purportedly traveling with Tobin on business

The boyfriend of “Glee” star Becca Tobin, who has portrayed Kitty Wilde on the show for the past two seasons, has died. 35-year-old Matt Bendik was  found dead in a Philadelphia hotel room, according to media reports.

He was traveling with Tobin on business in the city, as reported by TMZ. The site says that Bendik’s body was found by a hotel maid on Thursday afternoon.

Bendik ran several night clubs around the country. He was a co-owner of AV Nightclub in Los Angeles, as well as the Director of Operations at DBA Nightclub. The latter posted a tribute to Bendik outside the club Thursday night.

Bendik’s freinds took to Twitter to express their remorse, while the hashtag #staystrongbecca started trending. Tobin’s representatives did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
