Pixar-Disney’s "Up" bounced back to No. 1 at the international box office, thanks to a strong debut weekend in the U.K .
The animated adventure grossed $21 million overall in 25 markets. Of that, more than $9.7 million came from its U.K. opening.
So far, the well-traveled tale of a crusty old man and his flying house has made more than $257 million overseas.
"Inglorious Basterds" came in second for Universal and the Weinstein Co., raiding $8.5 million from 50 markets.
"The Ugly Truth" romanced its way to a third-place finish for Sony, wooing almost $8 million in 63 markets.
Disney’s animated "G-Force" hit the No. 4 spot with $7.8 million in 21 markets.
"Agora" with Rachel Weisz proved a hit in its target territory of Spain, digging up $7.3 million for Fox.
