California Gov. Gavin Newsom went after conservative leaning TV networks Fox News and One America News during an appearance Tuesday at the California Economic Summit.
“It’s just remarkable how obsessed some people are in trying to trip California up and identifying areas of weakness,” Newsom said, making his first public appearance in two weeks. After listing a number of accomplishments for the state — “No. 1 in household income. No. 1 in manufacturing jobs…No. 1 in import/export” — he said that you won’t hear about any of that on those two networks.
“That entrepreneurial spirit… it’s alive and well in the state of California.
