“Game of Thrones” co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have made their debut as an official couple after playing forbidden lovers in the hit HBO series.
Harington and Leslie sparked reports of a romance back in 2012. After being spotted shopping together in Los Angeles in January, costar Emilia Clarke voiced her support of the two love birds.
“My goodness! You know, we like to spread the love on our show,” Clarke told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s a beautiful thing. She’s one of my best friends, so it’s good. I mean, there are worse things than being caught kissing Jon Snow!”
The pair confirmed their relationship on Sunday at the Olivier Awards in London.
Leslie played Ygritte, a woman of the free folk — also known as the Wildlings — on the fantasy series. Initially part of Mance Ryder’s army, she becomes Snow’s lover. In Season 3, Ygritte shoots the fan favorite protagonist with an arrow three times, but he survives. In Season 4, Ygritte dies from an arrow shot herself.
“Game of Thrones” Season 6 premieres on April 24.
