Break out the parka; “Fargo” is coming back to FX.
The network has given a second season to its adaptation of the Coen Brothers film, which proved to be a critical and popular hit with its first season this year.
The second, 10-episode season will feature an all-new cast of characters along with a new “true crime” story.

The first season of “Fargo” featured a cast including Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks and Allison Tolman, and racked up 18 Emmy nominations this year.
“We could not be more proud of ‘Fargo,’” John Landgraf, CEO of FX Networks and FX Productions, said, hailing showrunner Noah Hawley. “Noah’s audacious, bordering on hubristic riff on my favorite Coen Brothers film earned 18 Emmy nominations — the most for a single program in our history. ‘Fargo’ was nothing short of breathtaking and we look forward to the next installment.”
