The “Frozen” sisters are back on the big screen in “Frozen Fever,” and the first look from the short film teases a planned celebration.
The short, which will play in front of Disney’s live-action “Cinderella” in theaters in March, brings back “Frozen” directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, as well as voice stars Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad.
Anna (Bell) is celebrating a birthday in this sequel, but Elsa has a cold, which can only mean bad things for the recently unfrozen kingdom of Arendelle.
This is not technically the first time the “Frozen” characters have been on screen since the original film’s record-breaking run at the box office. Live action versions of Elsa, Anna and Kristoff appeared in a recurring arc on this season of “Once Upon a Time,” as played by Georgia Haig, Elizabeth Lail and Scott Michael Foster, respectively.
“Frozen Fever” will play in front of “Cinderella,” which opens on Mar 13. See the first photos below, and a behind-the-scenes featurette above.
