Spanish filmmaker Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (“Intacto,” “28 Weeks Later”) has signed on to direct Clive Owen in the English-language genre film “Intruders.”
A co-production between Universal Pictures International and Apaches Entertainment, the project’s limited logline suggests it’s about an 11-year-old girl “who is forced to confront childhood demons."
With UPI handling international distribution, UTA is brokering a theatrical arrangement in the U.S. and Canada.
Production is slated to begin in June in London and Madrid.
Fresnadillo is currently in pre-production on the sci-fi-horror film “BioShock” for Universal.
