Freddie Prinze Jr. recently underwent spinal surgery, and has been updating fans of his progress via social media.
The 38-year-old actor told fans via Twitter he was going under the knife last week: “Spine surgery this morning but now ur homie is … Robo-Bro! Bionic pic inc”

Prinze didn’t reveal he was in pain or going into surgery during the days leading up to surgery, when he was promoting his role in Disney XD’s “Star Wars Rebels.” Prinze Jr. voices the character Kanan in the film.
Prinze’s wife, Sarah Michelle Gellar, hasn’t publicly commented on her husband’s surgery.
