Fox Sports Hires Nike’s Terri Hines as Communications EVP

She last led Converse’s global strategy

Fox Sports has hired Terri Hines away from Nike to serve as its executive vide president of Communications.

She’ll head the department across the sports television arm of Fox Broadcasting Company, FS1, FS2, its 22 regional sports networks, Fox Sports Digital, Fox Deportes, and all joint ventures. Hines will begin her new role on December 5.

Her proven leadership skills, deep marketing and communications expertise and forward thinking approach put her in an ideal position to highlight the growth and innovation of the Fox Sports brand.”

Hines most recently she served as vice president, Global Communications for Converse. In the role, she led Converse’s global communications strategy and corporate responsibility across key markets including North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America. Previously, Hines was director of Communications for Nike’s Jordan Brand.

The new Fox Sports exec has an M.A. in Communications from American University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida A&M.
