Fox News anchors worked overtime to spin the Trump administration scandal in which a journalist was accidentally added to a group chat about bombing Yemen into merely a “wee a bit of a security breach,” as Jesse Watters phrased it.

Watters dismissed the matter as a simple mistake, comparable to texting “all your raunchy plans for the bachelor party” to “your Aunt Mary.”

In this parable, the “bachelor” was National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, who accidentally added The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg to what should have been a highly classified conversation.

Watters also echoed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s accusations against Goldberg, calling him “not a good reporter” and “one of the biggest hoax artists around.”
