Fox Business host Dagen McDowell called White House officials out on Wednesday for avoiding the network’s asks to discuss the economy — and not only that, but she says they won’t even answer the phone.

“Some of the people in communications at the White House, in the Treasury, will not respond to the show trying to just book anybody to talk about this economy,” she told her “The Big Money Show” co-stars. “They won’t even answer the show, but Scott Bessent goes on one of the lowest rated shows on another network.”

Indeed, Treasury Secretary Bessent appeared on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” last week to discuss the media’s opposing coverage of President Trump’s economy versus that of former President Biden.
