Former “Saturday Night Live” writer John Mulaney will host for the first time on April 14, NBC said Thursday.

Mulaney has done bits on the show before, and was a writer from 2008 to 2013. He will be joined by musical guest Jack White.

Mulaney has also written for “Documentary Now” and “Mulaney,” and his latest comedy special “Kid Gorgeous at Radio City,” premieres on Netflix May 1. He’s also appeared in “Portlandia,” “Crashing” and “Big Mouth.”

Also appearing on the Studio 8H stage next month is “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman, who will make his “SNL” debut on April 7. Cardi B will also make her first “SNL” appearance as Boseman’s musical guest.

“Saturday Night Live” is produced with Broadway Video. Creator Lorne Michaels executive produces.
