Former News Corp. President and COO Peter Chernin and former Netflix CFO Barry McCarthy are joining the board of Internet music site Pandora.
The streaming service has over 80 million users and over 800,000 tracks in its library.
Since leaving News Corp. in 2009, Chernin founded Chernin Entertainment and the Chernin Group. He also advised Comcast during its merger with NBCUniversal. He was considered to take over the leadership of the Tribune Company.
McCarthy left Netflix in 2010, after working at the subscription service for 12 years.
