Sporting a devastating Roman bob, a man-of-purpose glower, and a veritable armory of medieval weapons, Russell Crowe is ready to take Sherwood Forest by storm as the vengeful Maximus, errr, Robin Hood.
The first trailer for Crowe’s latest collaboration with Ridley Scott signals a return to the sword-and-sandals genre that proved immensely profitable with the duo’s first teaming, 2000’s "Gladiator."
It also looks suspiciously similar to the Oscar-winning hit, with everything from Crowe’s haircut to his newly trim physique (apparently he laid off the lager) seemingly designed to echo that memorable pairing.
In May, audiences will find out if their newest flick is another stunner or a limp "Body of Lies" retread.
