Fired ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Star Kenya Moore on Vivica A. Fox: ‘Bosses Don’t Cry in the Boardroom’

The “Real Housewives” star speaks to TheWrap about getting booted and the #phonegate controversy

The #Phonegate scandal with Kenya Moore and Vivica A. Fox on NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” shocked viewers Monday night, but the cat fight was a fleeting thought for the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star.

“I don’t think she would have accused anyone else because we had a little tiff the week before,” Moore told TheWrap Tuesday. “We shot [the competition] a show a year ago. It’s the last thing I have ever thought about.”

On the episode, Moore brought up a tweet Fox allegedly wrote discussing the actress’s menopause problems. Fox claimed her phone was stolen and accused Moore.

“That’s a dirty ass bitch. She has toxic tendencies. You are just a toxic trick,” Vivica said sternly.

That kind of language is something Moore says she steers clear from.

“When you want to be a boss you have to act like a boss, and bosses don’t cry in the boardroom,” Moore said coolly.

Throughout the season, Fox was known for tearing up when Donald Trump asked her who should be fired on various challenges. Fox also sighed in relief  – with tears – when Moore was fired Monday after Team Vortex lost a photobomb challenge promoting King’s Hawaiian sweet bread.

“Bosses don’t lose their cool, they don’t lose their composure, and they certainly don’t resort to calling people bitches and tricks and having a demeaning ghetto behavior for the world to see,” Moore said.

And as for the phone scandal, Moore mockingly laughed while maintaining her innocence.

“I appreciate my fans for being smart and paying attention to details and not emotions,” she said. “You can’t go
accusing people. There are thousands of cameras in that building. It’s silly.”
