There are some fresh fish in the ocean for Pixar’s upcoming “Finding Dory.”
Or a fish and a sea mammal to be exact, as “Modern Family” actor Ty Burrell voices beluga whale Bailey, and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” actress Kaitlin Olson plays Destiny the whale shark, who happens to be Dory’s adopted sister. The photo of the underwater pals was first revealed on EW Wednesday.
Ellen DeGeneres once again leads the animated extravaganza as Dory, a forgetful Pacific regal blue tang, who was lost in the 2003 original.
She is reunited with Albert Brooks as Marlin, a clownfish. Meanwhile, Ed O’Neill plays Hank the Octopus, with Eugene Levy, Idris Elba, Dominic West and Diane Keaton also voicing characters.
“In ‘Finding Dory’ she will be reunited with her loved ones, learning a few things about the meaning of family along the way,” director Andrew Stanton previously revealed. “Finding Dory” is produced by Lindsey Collins, with Stanton also writing the screenplay.
“Finding Dory” is set for release on June 17, 2016.
