The trailer for upcoming S&M mommy-porn adaptation “Fifty Shades of Grey” heated up the internet like a red-hot cattle brand searing into a submissive’s ass cheek on Thursday. And while the world has been busy dissecting the chemistry between Jamie Dornan‘s Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson‘s Anastasia Steele, TheWrap couldn’t help but reflect on the fact that the trailer could have turned out much differently.
As you might or might not recall, before actor/model Dornan came onto the scene, “Sons of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam had been cast in the role of kink-happy business magnate Grey.

Hunnam abruptly dropped out of the film. The official line at the time was that Hunnam’s “immersive TV schedule” wasn’t “allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey.” However, the actor later suggested that family matters might have affected his decision.
Either way, the world was deprived of the sight of Hunnam getting his freak on with Dakota Johnson.
Until now.
TheWrap hunkered down in its state-of-the-art lab to assemble a somewhat unreasonable facsimile of what “Fifty Shades” would have looked like with Hunnam manning the cat o’ nine tails. Call it “Fifty Shades of Hunnam,” if you will.
