Fandango has extended its deal to be the online ticketing hub for Carmike Cinemas, the companies said at CinemaCon.
The multi-year partnership will keep the Columbus, Georgia-based theater chain's 2,254 screens firmly in Fandango's network.
Carmike is primarily based throughout smaller towns in America, with locations in 35 states. It is among the top five theater circuits in the country, according to the National Association of Theatre Owners.

The agreement follows Fandango's recent deals with AMC Theatres and Regency Theatres, which added more than 3,000 screens to the company's rolls. Fandango said that factoring in those two agreements, it now offers tickets for roughly 20,000 screens across the country.
“We are pleased to extend our long-standing relationship with founding partner Carmike,” Rick Butler, executive vice president and general manager of Fandango, said in a statement. “We look forward to many more years of innovating together.”
Fandango said it enjoyed its most successful first quarter in the company’s 12-year history with ticket sales up 127 percent over last year.
