New Line has offered Ewan McGregor a role in the upcoming "Jack the Giant Killer," TheWrap has confirmed.
"Jack" is director Bryan Singer's take on the "Jack and the Beanstalk" tale.
Academy Award nominee Stanley Tucci and Bill Nighy already signed on to the film.
In the movie, a long-standing peace between humans and giants is threatened when a young farmer tries to rescue a princess who has been kidnapped and taken to the giants' kingdom.
