The ‘Breaking Bad’ Interviews: a Season 5 Preview

"Breaking Bad" season 5 premieres Sunday — what's changed on a show about change

How do they top that? It's been the challenge of each new season of "Breaking Bad" — and with the show's return Sunday, we'll find out if its fifth and final season is up to the challenge of being its best.

In the weeks leading up to the season 5 premiere, we spoke to "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan and stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn, as well as Giancarlo Esposito, the man who brought Gus Fring to life and death. We heard promises of "a bloodbath," a "darker and uglier" season, and a "bigger, badder, bloodier, funnier, darker" show.
