If you thought Jordan Rodgers was going to live happily ever after with JoJo Fletcher, you may be in for a surprise.
“The Bachelorette” Season 12 winner has new conquests in his sights — and they’re very furry.
A crossover between “The Bachelor” and ESPN’s “College Football Playoff” sees the College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy being wooed by a collection of mascots including the Clemson Tiger, the Georgia Bulldog and even Brutus Buckeye from Ohio State.
Host Chris Harrison gets in on the action, teasing: “Four contenders, two playoff games, one trophy.”
In a shocking twist, it is actually the trophy who gets to pick between the cuddly suitors as “SEC Now” analyst Rodgers acts as his voice of reason.
Of course, there’s always those hopefuls who try to show off too much when they get out of the limo, and in place of the Whaboom guy we had the Wisconsin Badger doing handstands and the Miami Hurricanes’ Sebastian the Ibis strutting out like a baller.
“You’ve got a lot of good choices, do you think they’re here for the right reasons?” Rodgers asks the trophy after they’ve met all the mascots.
Later, the Cocktail Hour got messy as usual, with Alabama elephant Big Al throwing peanuts … but Aubie the Tiger later snuck in for some serious one on one time with the trophy.
Who will get the final rose? Find out when the college football playoff semifinals kick off on New Year’s Day at 5 p.m. ET. on ESPN. Meanwhile, “The Bachelor” returns for Season 22 later that night on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
