ESPN 3D has inked the country’s biggest cable company, Comcast, as a distribution partner.
Launching June 11 with the broadcast of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the channel will be available to Comcast’s digital cable subscribers.
ESPN already signed a distribution agreement with DirecTV to carry the its new 3D network.
The sports cable network has promised to show nearly 100 sporting events in 3D during the first year of the channel.
