“Game of Thrones” Season 7 is going to have dragons, but not just any dragons. The biggest dragons we’ve ever seen, if new Entertainment Weekly photos are any indication.
The publication released exclusive photos from the HBO set on Monday, showcasing some of our favorite characters in action.
Among shots shared were, of course, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) riding on the back of her dragon Drogon in the middle of a battlefield. Daenerys is barely visible among the scales as the beast roars, surrounded by flames. It’s an epic image and it says a lot about what the Khaleesi is up to this season.
Other characters featured include Arya Stark, who is riding a horse in front of what looks like Winterfell (or some other northern stronghold), Jon Snow, and a number of behind-the-scenes shots with Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju), and Cersei (Lena Headey) on the Iron Throne.
