Eminem announced his new album title and release date in a brief video that doubled as a Beats By Dre commercial during Sunday's MTV VMAs.
The 16-second clip, which features an old school, guitar-heavy hip-hop track, refers to his upcoming album as "MMLP2" (Marshall Mathers LP 2).

The album is executive produced by Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin and will be released on Shady/Aftermath/Interscope Records.
This is Slim Shady's first album since "Recovery" came out on June 18, 2010. The original "Marshall Mathers LP" — Eminem's second LP record — was released May 23, 2000.
"MMLP2" comes out Nov. 5.
