Emilia Clarke Told Her Mom How ‘Game of Thrones’ Ends – and She’s Somehow Already Forgotten (Video)

And no, she’s not gonna tell her a second time

Very few people know how “Game of Thrones” ends and that includes Emilia Clarke’s mother — but that’s not for lack of trying.

On Tuesday’s “Late Show,” the “GoT” star told host Stephen Colbert she had revealed the conclusion of the HBO fantasy series to one person: her mother. And, believe it or not, the Mother of Dragons’ lucky mother straight up forgot it.

“The good thing about telling my mum these things is she’s a vault, cause she’s just done forgotten it,” Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, said.

“We were talking about it the other day and I was like, ‘Cause you know,’” she added. “And she was like, ‘Do I?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, cause I told ya. You kinda read one of the scenes.’ And she was like, ‘I can’t remember! So what happens?’ And I was like, ‘I’m not gonna tell you twice! You missed your chance.’”

While you may think this bodes well for Clarke because now the secret is safe, she is concerned it could still get out another way: “If she falls asleep on a plane, I’m very worried that in her sleep she’s just gonna like say it and not realize that her subconscious knows exactly what happens.”
