Ellen Page is giving fans a “never-before-seen sneak peek” of her upcoming movie “X-Men: Days of Future Past” on Sunday night during the MTV Movie Awards. The big show will also see Lupita Nyong’o, Adam Levine, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Chris Pratt and Miles Teller handing out Golden Popcorn to winners.

Additionally, the network confirmed on Wednesday that Backstreet’s back. Backstreet Boys Brian Littrell and AJ McLean — nominated for Best Musical Moment for their cameo in “This Is the End” — will attend with fellow nominees Will Poulter, Michael B. Jordan, Jackson Nicoll and Liam James.

A teaser of the “X-Men” clip (above) shows Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique facing off against the younger version of “X2: X-Men United” villain, William Stryker, played by Josh Helman (“Animal Kingdom”). It marks the shadowy character’s third incarnation on the big screen.
It’s also director Bryan Singer‘s return to a blockbuster franchise that spans a total of seven movies (eight including the already announced sequel). This one spans time and space, as various generations of mutants team up to save the world.
