Oscar Sunday was filled with selfies, and where better for stars and starlets to post their private photos then in the very public world of Instagram?
The Facebook-owned picture sharing company did the math and found the Top 5 most-liked Instagrams from the Oscars, then shared the ranking exclusively with TheWrap.
The very top photo of the night should come as no surprise, and it blew away the rest of the competition. Host Ellen DeGeneres‘ celebrity-packed selfie — which easily shattered the record for Twitter retweets — currently has more than 1.1 million “Likes” on Instagram.
Next up at No. 2 is Ellen with Jennifer Lawrence backstage at the awards show, which had 374,000 “Likes” at the time of this writing. While the picture isn’t earth-shattering, the caption that accompanies it likely generated the button-pushing. With the photo, Ellen quipped: “A rare photo of Jennifer Lawrence standing up.”

With 323,000 “Likes” currently, Ellen alone pre-show with an “I am happy” hoodie comes in third. The Instagram had a very simple “Here we go” caption.
In fourth is the only non-Ellen pic in the Top 5. Jared Leto Instagrammed a photo of fellow “Dallas Buyers Club” star and Academy Award-winner Matthew McConaughey. His “Me. Matthew. Thank You” photo has 253,000 “Likes.”
The two undisputed winners of Sunday photographs, Leto and Ellen, teamed up together in a candid moment to round out the Top 5.
